Entertainer Lydia Shum Passed Away
Entertainer Lydia Shum has been ill for a long time. This morning, she passed away in Queen Mary Hospital. She was 62 years old.
Lydia passed away 8:38 AM at Queen Mary hospital. Her family was at her side. They moved Lydia’s body away from the hospital. Representatives of Queen Mary hospital stated that they would not comment about Lydia due to the family’s requests.
Lydia was a chronic patient of diabetes and hypertension. In September of 2006, she had a bile duct operation. Afterwards, it was confirmed that she had liver tumors. In November, she was unconscious with failing health. She went to the ICU of Queen Mary hospital many times. She stopped working due to health reasons for a while. But last year, she received a special life-time achievement award, 「萬千光輝演藝大獎」, at the “TVB 40th Anniversary Awards Show”. She personally appeared to accept the award in a wheelchair. She received standing ovations from the audience, stage hands and artistes.

陳志雲又說，沈殿霞的離世，對香港市民，影藝界及無铫電視都是損失。他讚揚沈殿霞敬業樂業，不斷參與公益籌款活動，他又說，沈殿霞為港人、海外華人帶來回憶，相信每位港人也會懷念這位開心果。

Stephen Chan: Lydia Shum Passed Away Peacefully
TVB executive Stephen Chan expressed his sorrow for Lydia Shum’s passing. He quoted Lydia’s daughter, Joyce Cheng, and said that Lydia passed away peacefully.
At the press conference, Stephen said that he communicated with Joyce through text messaging. Joyce is calm. He pointed out that Lydia was peaceful and serene when she passed away.
Stephen said that Lydia’s death was a loss for Hong Kong citizen, acting, and TVB. He commended Lydia for loving and respecting her work. Lydia also participated in many charity functions. Stephen also said that Lydia gave Hong Kong citizens and overseas Asian many memories. He believes that every Hong Kong citizen would always remember this “Happy Fruit”.
Stephen said that TVB will cooperate with Lydia’s family to help them with the funeral arrangements.

Entertainer Lydia Shum was born on July 21, 1947 in Shanghai, China. She was nicknamed “Fei Fei” because of her round and full body. She was also called “Happy Fruit”.
Lydia was employed as a child star in 1960. She was 13 years old when she acted in the movie called 《一樹桃花千朵紅》. This started her career as an actress. She was a part of many Cantonese and Mandarin films. She acted in more than 100 films. She joined TVB and hosted the variety show 《歡樂今宵》. Her trademark smile, laughs, owl hair style and eyeglasses was part of pop culture. It was engraved into the hearts of many. 陳凱歌新戲難遷就檔期
阿嬌接通知取消拍煞科
床照事件影響深遠，鍾欣桐（阿嬌）更因此耽誤了工作進度，原本需返回《梅蘭芳》劇組的她，卻因導演陳凱歌已火速完成拍攝工作，英皇高層霍汶希（Mani）承認阿嬌已接獲通知不用再返上海拍《梅》片。據知，陳凱歌更有可能刪去阿嬌全部戲份。
捲入床照風波的阿嬌日前雖已走出來，表示自己並沒有被事件擊敗，強調會繼續工作，可是她也因之前休息兩星期，錯過了她補拍由陳凱歌執導的電影《梅蘭芳》。去年，《梅》片開拍延遲了一個月，令阿嬌原本已度好的檔期陣腳大亂，最後只能抽幾天時間到上海拍攝，便要匆匆返港，仍有戲份尚未完成，然而英皇方面準備好檔期，讓阿嬌一有空檔便返回劇組。可是人算不如天算，床照事件迅速爆發，事件受害者因發燒休假兩個星期，原來這短短兩周，陳凱歌已為《梅》片煞科。
抱恙拖累拍攝進度
據劇組人士透露，因阿嬌上次留給劇組的時間太短，只有兩天的拍攝檔期，陳因此希望阿嬌能重新拍攝，望她的演出能力臻完美，但若她的演出未能配合導演的要求，為了影片的整體效果，陳凱歌是有可能刪去阿嬌的戲份。
據劇組工作人員指，床照事件影響了阿嬌的拍攝工作，目前仍未知會否刪減其戲份，一切要看陳凱歌怎樣剪片。英皇娛樂藝人發展部總監Mani承認收到劇組通知阿嬌不用再返上海拍攝：「套戲押後畄一個月先拍，阿嬌檔期得番幾日，原本諗住再開工，點知遇上碹件事（床照事件），跟住佢病畄兩個禮拜，返唔到上海拍，點知劇組通知我疉已經煞科，唔使返去。（刪走阿嬌砼戲份？）唔清楚，阿嬌都係拍得碹幾日，不過無論結果係點，佢都會好尊重陳凱歌，希望將來有機會合作。」

阿嬌將於周六（23日）出席西九龍中心的「全城起哄08迎馬術」活動，她到場惹起哄也不用懷疑。由於反嬌行動很激，故當日的保安亦令人關注。記者聯絡西九龍中心公關林小姐，初時說商場只是借出場地非主辦，後來才承認商場是主辦單位。她表示Twins擔任活動大使沒變，商場方面會安排適當人手維持秩序，亦不例外要先知會警方。她不清楚反嬌行動，但肯定Twins到場很安全。問她保安會增加多少人手？她回應問題跟傳媒無關。
曾有報道這活動跟香港賽馬會、香港馬術總會有關，昨日記者先後致電兩機構也獲回覆沒有這回事。香港馬術總會發言人強調，該會沒有參與「全城起哄08迎馬術」活動，亦沒有計劃邀Twins合作。不過，阿嬌還有無铫撐，Twins將於下周三參加《勁歌金曲》演出。

宣萱學好教導小朋友知識
【明報專訊】宣萱前晚於澳門星際酒店登台，並與觀眾大玩廿一點遊戲。宣萱早前與20多位舊同學到加拿大滑雪過年，她笑說：「之前約過很多次，我都沒空出席，演員壽命可以很短，所以一直都以工作為先，錯過了很多同學的婚禮；有些東西錯過了便錯過，沒有機會後悔。」宣萱透露很多同學帶同孩子出席，「玩人家的小朋友很開心，又可以學懂知識，萬一有孩子時便懂得處理」。
宣萱今個月會稍作休息，4月會到新加坡宣傳，5月初則開始拍攝《老婆大人2》。
