救災大匯演星淚俱下
500藝人心連心
【明報專訊】「四川加油！中國加油！」由演藝界發起，集兩岸三地逾500名藝人的陣容，約1萬名市民進入西九龍中天地支持，從下午2點28分紀念地震一刻而默哀一分鐘開始，接近8小時馬拉松式的《演藝界512關愛行動大匯演》，齊為仍處於水深火熱難關的四川災民打氣，並為災民再籌得$20,200,860元善款（截至晚上9 時），一眾藝人落力高歌，也有藝人在後台接聽市民捐款電話，其中袁詠儀、戚美珍、黃日華、梁潔華、鄭欣宜與肥媽瑪利亞等，都被災區的感人故事而感動落淚，還有周星馳因要趕飛機而提早到場呼籲，歌神許冠傑也出動，齊心為災民許下承諾。
截至9時善款逾2000萬
大會召集人劉德華被問及對於善款數字$20,200,860元（截至昨晚9時）是否滿意？他稱是意外地比預期為多，因他沒有考慮到籌款目標，而覺得昨晚主要是一個感恩大會，之前市民已不停捐款，所以昨晚也非搶住大家再捐錢，而是感謝曾付出的藝人與市民。
天公也憐憫香港人的善心，經過連夜大雨，昨天天氣陰暗中放晴，有如雨後彩虹、前路燦爛，近萬名市民入場欣賞整個馬拉松大匯演，從默哀一分鐘的哀傷感覺，再到入夜後市民亮起熒光棒氣氛更熱烈。
成龍﹕齊心戰勝災難
開場由成龍與劉德華講述前往災區探訪過程，成龍在事發後第二天到災區，他謂見到救護車絡繹不絕駛到災區救人，很多市民自發到災區送食物及往救人，實在令人感動，他說這一次是13億人民同一天做覑同一件事，所以他深信只要中國人努力齊心，便可以戰勝災難。至於劉德華就表示災民仍處於水深火熱中，但災民卻充滿笑容、充滿信心面對未來，他在中國人身上體驗了大愛之情。
周星馳上機前到場呼籲
周星馳因為趕搭飛機，所以他於下午2時已到場上台呼籲，他表示四川地震也感同身受，悲傷過後的災後重建需要大量人力物力，讓他們投入新生活，所以這是長遠的賑災工作。身為四川人的內地歌手張靚穎，昨日以四川話在台上代表四川人多謝各界熱心幫助災民。
昨日大會安排了不少已為人母的女藝人上台讀出在災區發生的很多悲歡離合的感人故事，其中苗僑偉、戚美珍、黃日華、梁潔華、袁詠儀及演唱的肥媽等都不禁落淚，鄭秀文更稱自己到過災區探訪後，感受到災民都以正面態度面對逆境，令她更懂得惜福的道理。大匯演集合兩岸三地藝人，更有張學友與張惠妹合唱，成龍帶領一班內地藝人胡軍、張國立等唱出《真心英雄》，向救護人員致敬。
林建岳率東亞藝人捐200萬
據籌委成員陳嘉上表示，昨天大會動用了1400名義工在場協助，昨日現場義賣物品都有贊助商捐出外，逾70萬的製作費則獲林建岳贊助，而林建岳及旗下東亞藝人再度捐出200萬為昨天的活動打氣。

Artistes Shed Tears at Earthquake Relief Concert
500 Artistes Unite Together
“Go Sichuan! Go Sichuan!” The relief concert was spearheaded by artistes from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Over 500 artistes participated in the effort. They were joined by approximately 10 thousand citizens at the Pop TV Arena in West Kowloon. The “演藝界512關愛行動大匯演” event was an eight hour long marathon effort with a moment of silence observed at 2:28 PM. They cheered on the Sichuan people who are still in deep distress. They also raised HK$ 20 200 860 in donations (figure as of 9 PM). A group of artistes sang songs with their best abilities while another group of artistes answered the phone for donations. Anita Yuen, Jaime Chun, Felix Wong, Tony Ka-Fai Leung, Joyce Cheng, “Fat Mama” Maria, and others were touched by the survivors’ stories and cried. Stephen Chow needed to catch a plane so he made his appeal for donations earlier in the event. “God of Songs” Sam Hui also sprung into action and made promises to the Sichuan victims.
The even organizer, Andy Lau, was asked if he was satisfied with the HK$ 20 200 860 donation money (as of 9 PM). He said that he was surprised since it was more than the anticipated target amount. He wasn’t paying attention to the donation target because many citizens have donated and some repeatedly donated money before the event started. Andy felt that it was an appreciation event more so he wasn’t pressing people to donate again and again. He wanted to give thanks to the artistes and citizens who donated money.
It seems the heaven was moved by the Hong Kong citizen’s charitable hearts. After days of heavy rain, yesterday was cloudy with some clear skies at certain times. It was like a rainbow appearing after the rains to symbolize bright days are ahead. Nearly ten thousand citizens watched the relief performance for the entire duration. They started with a solemn mood for the moment of silence. The mood became passionate at night when the audience members raised up florescent lights.
The event started with Jackie Chan and Andy describing their experience in the disaster area. Jackie went to Sichuan by the second day of the earthquake. He described how the ambulance made endless trips to the earthquake zone to save people. Many citizens delivered supplies to the area and help rescue other victims. It was truly a remarkable scene. He said that 1.3 billion people worked on the same thing that one day. So he believes that Chinese people should work together and they can win the fight against the disaster. Andy expressed that the victims are in deep distress but they smiling and confident about their future. He was able to experience their love and care.
Stephen needed to catch a plane so he made his appeal on stage at 2 PM. He expressed that the Sichuan earthquake shook him also. The victims and survivors still need a lot of supplies and help to help rebuild their lives. They need to help them get on with their lives so this is a long term relief effort. Jane Zhang is a singer who came from Sichuan. Yesterday, she spoke a Sichuan dialect on stage and represented the Sichuan people to give thanks for the support.
Yesterday, the organizers had several artistes read some of the victim’s stories of separation, reunion, and deaths. Many of those artistes were parents in real life. Some of them could not hold back the tears like Michael Miu, Jane Chun, Felix Wong, Tony Leung, Anita Yuen and Maria. Sammi Cheng expressed that she was able to witness the victim’s positive attitude when facing adversity. This was on her trip to interview the victims in the earthquake zone. She now knows how to treasure her blessing even more. The relief concert united artistes from two coast and three areas. Jacky Cheung and Hui-Mei Zhang performed a duet. Jackie (Chan), Hu Jun, Guo Li Zhang, and others sang “真心英雄” as a tribute to the emergency personnel.
According to a member of the preparatory committee, 陳嘉上, 1400 volunteer lent their help to the event. Yesterday, there was a charity auction and some of the items were donated by corporations. Over HK$700 000 of the production cost was sponsored by Peter Lam. Peter and Media Asia artistes also donated another HK$2 million.
英皇動員演出缺Twins
【明報專訊】英皇歌手幾乎總動員參與大匯演，但Twins的鍾欣桐（阿嬌）仍避席只想私底下賑災；至於謝霆鋒太太張聣芝有心有力支持，但她做善事也不想讓別人知道。
霆鋒拒公開聣芝捐款數目
事前有傳阿嬌想參加是次關愛行動演出，卻被霍汶希（Mani）阻止。Mani解釋阿嬌想參與賑災但不想出席公開活動，她不想自己的出現扭轉了活動的焦點。她稱阿嬌身在外地繼續進修，賑災工作是長時間的，將來阿嬌仍會為賑災出力。
謝霆鋒稱大家是用心做善事，並體驗到這力量。問為何沒跟太太聣芝一起亮相作愛的呼喚？霆鋒稱聣芝很支持賑災亦有捐錢，他不想公開太太捐款多少以免成宣傳似的。霆鋒早在四川助養了十多個孩子，地震發生後，霆鋒承諾多助養50個四川小朋友，並參與學校重建。
祖兒獲志偉禮待
昨日活動上由曾志偉負責介紹英皇歌手出場，容祖兒獲志偉「禮待」，介紹她時特別以「大師姐」稱呼，更多加一句「多謝」，難得這樣客氣。他說：「以下是大師姐容祖兒帶令一眾英皇歌手演唱……多謝你！」做善事應沒界限與成見。

EEG Artistes at Relief Performance Except Twins
Almost all of EEG’s artistes came out for the relief performance. But Gillian Chung of Twins is still avoiding pubic performances. She is supporting the relief effort in private. Nicholas Tse’s wife Cecilia Cheung is also supporting the relief effort but she doesn’t want people to know about it.
It was rumoured that Gillian wanted to perform for the relief concert but Mani Fok put a stop on it. Mani explained that Gillian wanted to help but doesn’t want to attend public events. She doesn’t want to take away from the focus. Mani said that Gillian is still studying abroad. The relief effort is a long term process so Gillian can still help out later on.
Nicholas said that everyone is using their entire heart to do charity work. Some also had personal experiences. Why didn’t your wife Cecilia appear with you to appeal for donations? Nicholas said that Cecilia is supporting the relief effort with private donations. But he doesn’t want to disclose the amount because he doesn’t want to make her donation look like a commercial advertisement. Nicholas already sponsored several Sichuan children before the earthquake. He made a promise to sponsor 50 more Sichuan children. Nicholas will also be involved in rebuilding schools.
Yesterday, Eric Tsang introduced all of EEG artistes. Joey Yung received special treatment from Eric. He introduced Joey as “Big sister” and added a “Thank-you”. Eric is rarely this nice. He said: “Up next is “Big Sister” Joey Yung to lead out EEG artistes…Thank-you!” Charity work should not be limited by geography or views.
千嬅 家輝 阿倫做接線生
【明報專訊】楊千嬅、梁家輝、梁詠琪、譚詠麟等為《演藝界512關愛行動》大匯演出心出力，不用上台演出及呼籲，便在台下做接線生接聽捐款電話。千嬅表示全日留守在會場幫忙，她接捐款電話時見到市民踴躍好開心，其中有卡地亞捐出30萬元善款，以及有一位母親捐1萬元，問可否用兒子名義捐款，大家都好支持。
梁詠琪演唱《但願人長久》，覺得這首歌好有意思，而昨日是6月1日國際兒童節，有雙重意思，今日她會到北京出席兒童節活動。
梁家輝在台上見到台下有不少年輕市民入場，有感而發問他們是否願意趁覑暑假到災區做義工，幫助四川災區的中學生與大學生。在場近萬名市民佔了一半都舉手表示願意，令到家輝很感動的說：「你們今年的暑假，真的願意實行做義務工作的話，希望你們有一個非常有意義的大愛暑假。」
